CBSE Extended CTET Exam Duration by 1 Hour - Latest News & Updates 2013


Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi conduct CTET exam for the appointment of teacher of class first to eight.
CBSE has decided to extend the last date and time to apply for CTET Exam July 2013 to 29 April 2013. Time duration is also increased from 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hour 30 minutes.

Those Students who not decided to fill the form due to less time duration. Now they can fill the form easily and do more practice daily.

Important Instruction:

For the people belonging to remote areas like Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, Pangi sub division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Island, and Lakshadweep will be allowed to receipt of confirmation before 06.05.2013


How to apply:

·         For the submission of form you have to apply online.
·         Fill the form on official website of CBSE.
·         After the submission of data you will get the confirmation page you have to take print out of it.
·         On the form you affix passport size photograph and signature with the original copy of challan.
·         You can pay fees through challan, by Debit Card/Credit Card, or by DD in favour of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education Delhi.

·         The completed application form along with challan should be sent to CBSE, CTET Unit in an envelope of size 12X9 written in bold letter "APPLICATION FOR CTET-JULY 2013" by registered post/Speed Post on the below address.

Pattern of Exam

There will be two paper of CTET and all questions will be Multiple Choice Question (MCQ). No negative marking will be there.

·         Paper 1 will be for class 1 to 5.
·         Paper 2 will be for class 6 to 8.

Application Fee

·         For GEN/OBC candidates fee: for Paper 1 or Paper 2: Rs 500/- for both papers Rs 800/-.
·         For SC/ST candidate fee: for Paper 1 or Paper 2: Rs 250/- for both papers Rs 400/-.
