CBSE is responsible for conducting CTET (Central Teachers Eligibility Test) and it is compulsory for being eligible for government teacher and private school teacher. CTET Exam Pattern 2014:

The Exam is conducted in two parts, Paper I and Paper II.
  • Paper I is organized to hire the teachers for class 1 to 5th 
  • Paper II is conducted for the recruitment of the teachers for class 6 to 8th.
CTET Paper 1 Pattern 2014:

This paper consists of 30 Questions based on the Multiple Choice Type and the total marks of this paper are 150.  Questions are asked from the different subjects, these subjects are given below. You have to complete this exam within 2.30 hrs.

This paper contains 30 Multiple Choice Questions of 150 marks. Questions are given from CDP or Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics and Science.

Individual Differences:

Meaning, types and factors Affection Individual differences Understanding individual differences on the basis of language, gender, community, caste & religion.

Personality:   
  • Concept and types of personality
  • Factors responsible for shaping it and its measurement
Intelligence:  

Concept, Theories and its measurement, Multidimensional Intelligence

Unit-4
  • Understanding diverse learners: Backward, Mentally retarded, gifted, creative, disadvantaged and deprived, especially abled.
  • Learning Difficulties.
  • Adjustment: Concept and ways of adjustment. Role of teacher in the adjustment.
Unit-5
  • Teaching learning process, Teaching learning strategies and methods in the context of National Curriculum Framework 2005.
  • Meaning and purposes of Assessment, Measurement and Evaluation. Comprehensive and Continuous Evaluation. Constriction of Achievement Test.
  • Action Research.
  • Right to Education Act 2009 (Role and Responsibilities of Teachers)
