IAS Exam Pattern

IAS exam is comprises of three stages:
  • Preliminary exam (CSAT exam)
  • Civil Services Mains exam

CSAT Exam Pattern: CSAT Exam consists of two papers:-

Paper I:

General Studies and Current Affairs

Marks – 200

Duration – 02 Hrs

  • General Science
  • Current events of national and international
Paper II:

Civil Services Mains exam: 

Civil Services Mains is conducted in the month of October / November generally. IAS Mains consists of the following optional papers.

IAS Interview:

Marks – 300

  3. why are you guiding wrong to the aspirants...1stly you are saying PRELIMS as also known as CSAT..THATS UNTRUE....CSAT is the 2nd paper i.e civil services aptitude test and 1st paper is known as GENERAL STUDIES..2ndly you put GENERAL STUDIES in MAINS optional..again untrue...general studies paper is not optional rather it is compulsory in mains..
