DRDO Syllabus 2014:

DRDO Syllabus 2014 helps career oriented professionals who want to be a part of Research and Development Center in DRDO Under Technical Fields such as Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Computer Science, Technician.

DRDO was established in India in the year 1958 with its headquarters in New Delhi, India. DRDO conducts exam to search the individuals who have good technical knowledge.

Organization requires young and talented candidates for Research fields. To Prepare for DRDO Exam, candidates firstly need DRDO Syllabus to understand the Exam Pattern. So in below section DRDO Syllabus has mentioned in different disciplines:

DRDO Exam Pattern:

DRDO Exam is divided into two sections:

Section 1: In this section questions based on Objective Type 100 questions are given from the subject as per syllabus.

Section 2: This section consists of 50 Aptitude questions from Logical Reasoning, Spatial Reasoning, Concept Formation, Abstract Reasoning and Numerical Reasoning. Each section consists of 10 questions.
   
For Technician:

Written test will consist of following sections:
  • 50 Questions on General Awareness, General Intelligence, Reasoning Ability, General Science
  • 100 Questions on Subject concerned.
DRDO Syllabus 2014 Subject wise for Electrical & Mechanical Engineer, Computer Science etc is mentioned below:

Electrical Engineering:

Electrical Engineering consists of questions from Electric Circuits and Fields, Signals and Systems, Electrical Machines, Power Systems, Control Systems, Electrical and Electronic Measurements, Analog and Digital Electronics, Power Electronics and Drives.

Mechanical Engineering:

Mechanical Engineering consists of Engineering Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Theory of Machines, Vibrations, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics, Applications, Engineering Materials, Metal Casting, Forming, Joining etc.

Chemical Engineering:

In Chemical Engineering questions are asked from Process Calculations and Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics and Mechanical Operations, Heat Transfer, Mass Transfer, Chemical Reaction Engineering, Instrumentation and Process Control, Plant Design and Economics, Chemical Technology etc.

Computer Science and Engineering:

Theory of Computation, Digital Logic, Computer Organization and Architecture, Programming and Data Structures, Algorithms, Compiler Design, Operating System, Databases, Computer Networks

Electronics and Communication Engineering:

Networks, Electronic Devices, Analog Circuits, Digital Circuits, Signals and Systems, Control Systems, Communications, Electromagnetism etc

Instrumentation Engineering:

Basics of Circuits and Measurement Systems, Transducers, Mechanical Measurement and Industrial Instrumentation, Analog Electronics, Digital Electronics, Signals, Systems and Communications, Electrical and Electronic Measurements etc
