Staff Selection Commission is an Indian organization to recruit employees for numerous posts within the numerous Ministries and Departments of the govt of India and in Subordinate Offices.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who are going to apply for any SSC Recruitment exam must ensure their eligibility before apply, which is well presented here.

1. Nationality/Citizenship:

A candidate must be either:

(a) A citizen of India, or
(b) A subject of Nepal, or
(c) A subject of Bhutan, or
(d) A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Graduate Degree/B.Sc in Agriculture/Botany/Zoology/Bio-Technology/Bio-Chemistry/Microbiology/Food Science/ Bachelor of Commerce with proficiency in use of computers

(iv) 18-27 Years for JE (Quantity Surveying and Contract) in MES
(v). Not exceeding 30 years for JE (Civil) / (Electrical &Mechanical) in Border Roads Organization
Multi Tasking Staff (MTS)
18-25 years
Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF
20-25 years
SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam
18 to 27 years
Junior Hindi Translator
should not exceed 30 years
Assistant Grade III Posts in General, Depot, Technical and Account Cadres
should not be more than 27 years
