AIBE Exam syllabus Question Papers Sample Paper Eligibility Criteria


AIBE Exam: AIBE conducts an Entrance exam to test the advocate’s abilities in law profession for admission in to the practice of Law. So great opportunity for law graduates completed their graduation in the academic year 2012-2013 onwards. To Test the exam pattern candidates looking for the AIBE Syllabus, Sample Papers and other relevant information for this exam. AIBE Exam will be held on November, 25, 2012. Here we are providing you the AIBE Sample Papers, Eligibility Criteria, and Syllabus as described below:


AIBE Exam Syllabus: AIBE Exam Question Papers consists of 100 questions base on MCQs Pattern. Subjects in this exam are divided into two categories. First category considered as foundational. Second category consists of  legal profession with basic understanding. All the questions based on knowledge-’ and ‘reasoning’.

4              Contract Law, including Specific Relief, Special Contracts, and Negotiable Instruments     
5              Criminal Law I: The Indian Penal Code

7              Drafting, Pleading, and Conveyancing  
8              Evidence  
9              Jurisprudence     
10           Professional Ethics and the Professional Code of Conduct for Advocates     
11           Property Law     
Category II (Part II of the Paper)         
1              Administrative Law     
2              Company Law
3              Environmental Law
4              Family Law
5              Human Rights Law
6              Labour and Industrial Law
7              Law of Tort, including Motor Vehicle Accidents, and Consumer Protection Law
8              Principles of Taxation Law
9              Public International Law

AIBE Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must be Graduate in Law for appearing in AIBE. An advocate may apply only it they already enrolled as an advocate under section 24 of the Advocates Act, 1961.
