Assistant Recruitment 2012 Complete Details –
Post
name & number of vacancies –
1. Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant – 5000+ vacancies
in various postal circle of India.
Educational
Qualification – Aspirants must be passed 10+2 from any
recognized board/ institution with minimum 60% of marks. OC candidates must
have 55 % or above and other backward category candidates must have 45% marks. You

Age
limitation – Applicants age must be above or same as 18 years and
below 27 years. Relaxation in upper age for reserved category candidates will
be as per government norms.
Sale
of Pay – Selected candidates will be recruits at Rs. 5200 – 20,200
+ Rs. 2400 admissible allowance.
Application
fee –
Applicants will have to be deposit Rs. 200/ non refundable application fee in
concerned postal circle post office. SSC/ ST/ PH and women are exempted from
the application fee charge.
Selection
procedure – Aspirants selection will be through written test and
computer typing test. (Tips

Exam
syllabus – There are will be conducts two paper aptitude test
and computer typing test. There are 100 questions of hundred marks. The test
total duration will be 2 hours. No negative marking there. The paper will be
followed on –

General Knowledge – 25 Questions
·
Math (10th level) – 25 Questions
·
English - 25 Questions
·
Reasoning – 25 questions.
Aspirants those who will be passed the aptitude test
called for computer typing test. Aspirant’s final selection will be based on
computer typing test performance.

Last date for receipt of application form – 01.10.2012
How
to apply – Eligible and interested candidates may obtain the
application form from aspirants concerned postal circle head office after
paying Rs. 50 cash charge on or before 25th September 2012. Candidates
must be complete the application form in all respect and send it along with
applicants required documents photocopies to the following address – “The
Direct Recruitment Cell, New Delhi HO, New Delhi-1100010” on or before 01st
October 2012. Application form must be send through speed post/ registered post.
